Blepharitis causes flaky, red, swollen and itchy eyelids. It can normally be treated by washing your eyelids every day. The condition is not usually serious, but can lead to other problems, such as dry eyes, cysts and conjunctivitis, especially if it's not treated.
This fun campaign was originally commissioned as a still image. Later on we were asked to turn it into a short animation using the still assets. We created a 3d composite in Blackmagic Fusion where we were able to create the illusion of depth and parallax.
We used 3d scan of an actual eye. The eyelashes were placed using XGen.
As we were all in lock down we had no option other than creating the three characters in CGI. Using an exiting human body mesh as a starting point we used Zbrush to sculpt the clothing. Then using Mari we projected photographic textures of the faces and skin.
